Instructions
for Using Your Focuser
Begin
by holding your Focuser in your dominant hand in a vertical position
between the thumb and forefinger. Center the tip of the Focuser
½ inch above the outstretched palm of your non- dominant
hand. With your EYES OPEN place your attention on the tip, take
a breath. Then, out loud, count backwards 15, 14, 13, 12, 11,
10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, and 1. Allow this to be your time
as you put the Focuser down, close your eyes and take a second
deep breath.
Imagine relaxation
flowing from your head down your neck filling up your chest, down
your spinal column, through your stomach and your hips, down your
legs, and all the way to your feet. When you have imagined that
the relaxation has reached your toes, picture yourself standing
in a very safe place, wiggle your toes and count from 1 up to
5, Open your eyes refreshed, rejuvenated and ready to take on
the rest of your day. Practice this technique at least twice a
day.
